ELSE was founded in 2007 by entrepreneur and Creative Director, Ela Onur, inspired by her lifelong passion for lingerie and beauty in all forms. Handcrafted in Istanbul in an in-house Atelier and available worldwide in specialty boutiques, retail stores such as Bloomingdales and Selfridges, and leading multi-brand online luxury lingerie stores like Journelle, the brand now has over 100+ sales points and is recognized as a global brand.
Embodying what it means to feel confident, modern and feminine, the brand Concept for ELSE is designed to encourage new and existing audiences to (re)discover the brand and their own compelling truth.
A sense of ‘pure’ beauty transcends seamlessly across both the brand and lingerie designs; through textural play and the harmony of quality materials, fabrics, lace and pattern detailing. A blended aesthetic of timeless and modern results in an effortless elegance that is alluring and contemporary, with intriguing design elements that captivate and create a sense of intrigue and promote continuous (self)discovery.
